Thursday, April 24, Breakthrough SJC families hosted our donors, supporters, and Advisory Board members to an evening of great conversations, inspiring speeches, and of course tons of home-cooked food! The event was held at the Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley here in San Juan Capistrano, with over 85 guests in attendance.
Family Night celebrated a year of programmatic growth and accomplishment while providing the opportunity for donors and supporters to get to know the outstanding students who make up Breakthrough SJC. Guests enjoyed two student speeches from 7th grade Marco Forster Middle School student, Amy Fabian and 11th grade Capistrano Valley High School student Fabian Tovar. Both Amy and Fabian captivated the audience by sharing favorite memories and future college plans. Mrs. Miceala Santana, one of our Parent Leaders, also spoke of the impact Breakthrough has had on each of her three sons.
Breakthrough SJC students are grateful to have the support of this community. Once again, thank you to all our donors, supporters, and Advisory Board members for your ongoing generosity and involvement. Thank you for believing in these students and in the future of San Juan Capistrano.
